Atelier offers customizable and entirely private waxing of the intimate areas. Intimate waxing services are performed only by technicians of the same gender identity as the scheduling guest. Due to the gender identify of our current waxing technicians, intimate waxing services may only be booked by guests with vaginas.

Intimate Waxing Preparation:

To ensure your comfort, and to maximize results, we recommend following the following prep steps prior to your intimate waxing reservation:

1. Ensure that the area you are scheduling for a waxing service for has at least 1/4 inch of growth. This will ensure that there is ample hair for the wax to grip to. We do not advise shaving between waxing services, and recommend waiting 2-4 weeks after your last shave before scheduling a waxing reservation.
2. Thoroughly clean and exfoliate the area being waxed. This ensures ample removal of dead skin and sebum on the skin, both of which can contribute to ingrown hairs and improper wax adhesion.
3. Wear loose fitting clothing and cotton undergarments. While waxing can be a comfortable service, it does still cause trauma to the skin. Loose fitting, natural fiber clothes allow for ample breathability for a more comfortable recovery.
4. When menstruating, intimate waxing is still absolutely an option. When receiving an intimate waxing service during menstruation, we recommend the use of a tampon for ease. We also supply tampons in our restrooms for those in need of one.
